Roger Casale
Roger Casale is the co-founder with Ervin Laszlo of the World Upshift Movement, a project which promotes transformative social change through the power of love.
Prior to setting up the World Upshift Movement, Roger worked as the CEO of New Europeans, an award-winning not-for-profit organisation promoting the rights of EU citizens in the UK and Britons in Europe. He has lived and worked in Britain, Germany and Italy, including as a senior government affairs advisor across a number of sectors including aerospace and satellite technology.
Between 1997 and 2005 he was the Labour Member of Parliament for Wimbledon. Roger was educated at Oxford University and the Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies (Bologna Center).
He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and in 2009 was made a Commander of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic for his services to British-Italian relations. Born and raised in the UK, he now lives in Rome.
